This is the first one I ever did. I've learned so much since then.
The first banner I did for Food Not Bombs. It reads "Solidarity Not Charity," at the top. The middle is a purple fist holding a carrot. Behind it is an anarchist A. Surrounding it are straight black lines. Some of the lines have vines growing on them. The bottom reads, "Food Not Bombs Wilmington." Behind the banner is a sign that says, "Please Do Not Distribute Food or Clothing In This Area."

Second post is the first banner I made for FNB. It's crazy how much improvement can happen with practice.

A new piece of mine. For this piece I was thinking about food and mutual aid being a light in the darkness of authoritarianism. This is a collage that combines watercolor, digital, and acrylic art.

I Awaken into Hope at Dawn ready, and filled with patience. ________________________________________ I emerge from one of the tiniest tunnels, up. Arms outstretched, I feel the warmth of what will develop. Life, all lives, helping each other to perish and continue on. Through instinct, we live with careful contemplation. _____________________________________________ Pliable earth, decay of the past, allows me to be present. The touch of a human being brought me to this planet. The same fingers have crafted my demise, creating more single-use waste to fund the wealthiest lives. The hand that feeds me bites until it digs in. Shouldn’t they exist with better inclination? Plastic particles so small advance the end of all survival. They retorted, “All progress will be worthwhile.” Yet I struggle to breathe, I can’t reach recreation. If I cease, and we all cease, what’s left of creation? ___________________________________ No one seems to care, and I’m simply unable. I wither toward one of the tiniest tunnels, unstable. I don’t believe change will come when greed drives motivation. In death, all I seek is life’s salvation. ___________________________________ If I’m the very last seed, hope has withdrawn. A feeling is nothing when nothing is done.

The indoor picture is from the event I cohosted and vended at on Thursday: Pride Fest. We had a really successful night and it was amazing to see such amazing support for LGBTQIA+ creatives, and money raised for Point of Pride.

Here is my scan of a piece to be seen this Friday! We have a Great Blue Heron with a grocery bag stuck around its ankle. It rests on a branch next to the classic postcard slogan, "Wish you were here!" The piece is meant to evoke sarcasm.

This piece is the physical form from an upcoming series of art made to look like postcards from the midatlantic region of the U.S. (occupied Lenapehoking). The horseshoe crab is nicknamed, "the last living fossil," and serves as inspiration.

It'll be on display on April 4th from 5 to 8.

We have native species to the Midatlantic region: a mourning dove, eastern prickly pear cacti, and branches of a paw paw tree. This was made with a combination of digital art and watercolor paint collaged together.

If you're looking to stay radically organized consider purchasing a Slingshot Collective 2025 Organizer. I was happy to contribute art for the last two weeks of July and first two weeks of August in their pocket edition.
The last week of July sprawled across two pages of a pocket organizer. The lettering is in a Ska font, with checkers separating the dates. The month of July is surrounded by an outline of a trumpet. The front cover of the organizer. It says Slingshot and has animals working on a silk screen press with the title Trans Lives Matter.

A digital print finished to follow the month of October about the spookiest thing to exist: wage theft.

To celebrate the upcoming International Workers' Day I made this new piece. The cats all work together under one big union in an I.W.W. inspired fashion. It combines watercolor, acrylic, pen, and collage. The cat at the center wears a bandana that reads, "Labor is entitled to all it makes."

My newest painting took a long time to make, but is incredibly important to me.

The symbolism embodies constant perserverence while being unsure of what the future holds. It is about my journey of adjusting to living with changes to my health. It is about continuing the fight.
All three pictures are of my new painting. Two were taken by camera, and one is a scan. The painting is of three black-eyed susans (a type of flower that is yellow with a brown center in the aster family). They are growing in a backyard. The flowers have drips of yellows to give an appearance of melting. Hanging from the flowers is barbed wire. They are growing from the back of a wooden raised garden bed, and facing a white fence.
