This is quite the feat. Im ex power generation installation and commissioning and know how much effort must have gone into this. I pray it is installed and operated without intervention from the Russian scum.

I have Operation Biting by Max, too. My interest in his writing came after my wife found 'Pedestal' in a book swap tender boat which is mounted by the promenade where we lived until recently. She thought I may like it. She knows me well, and I smell something intiguingly booky under the tree for me

The smell of steam makes my nostrils twitch, still, but I wouldn't waste it in catapults. Quite the waste of a valuable commodity onboard a ship. Treating seawater to be suitable for the kettles is a laborious and chemically exact business.

Thoroughly agree. Occasionally his books are a touch 'dry', but very informative and open areas I had little knowledge of. I came to his work quite late, now owning 3 of his excellent works.

Knowing Chinese engineering as I do, they'll sort this out and throw renminbi at it like confetti and iterate it out in no time.
