Maybe the weirdest thing about BlueSky is finding tweets from an account I muted on Twitter in my opening feed. I guess it’s all the same place now.

Alice Stewart was good, and was so well-regarded by her colleagues at the network. It was a tragedy that she died so unexpectedly, and her voice is sorely missed.
Jennings is grating and patronizing; Alice was clarifying and respectful. Disagreement was acceptable; petty behaviors were not.

Clark led the ONLY team to defeat the USA Olympic Women's Basketball Team.

She, Boston & Mitchell emerged better for their time with Cheryl Miller, and the Fever roared back through the remainder of the #WNBA season.

I'm sorry she missed the experience of the Paris Olympics. Her career benefited.

When auditioning for the DC version of Survival, one knows being voted off the island is the most likely outcome. These players understand the reality television roots of this administration better than those of us who prefer inter/national policy wonks, legal experts, and environmental scientists.

The NYT focus group response piece today tells us all we need to know: too many people lack the ability - or curiosity - to ask deeper questions about why things are the way they are.
I don't want to be that guy, but we're awash in stupidity and the people who benefit want to destroy public ed.

Thank you, Richard. I'm 3 weeks Twitter-sober and haven't seen anything in my Bsky feed about the article/announcement, though much healthy discussion IRL among family & friends today. Some are OG/Iowa folks, some are new to the W, and some are girl dads who remember when Bird & Magic made us look.

Perhaps amongst the C-Suite crowd. The general public has a different take, indeed.
