Rook lost his left eye in the fight with Elgar'nan, but worry not! Emmrich made him a replacement - an enchanted eye made of glass and sapphire. Among other things, the enchantment allows Rook to see Spite. Overusing it does cause headaches, though.

Rook lost his eye during the fight with Elgar'nan, and has nerve damge in his leg. But hey, he'll get to wear an eye-patch and look even more like a pirate! All the stress also left him with more gray hair than he had before. He is around 40 years old during the events of Veilguard.

Rook is a spellblade, uses brute force over finesse. Favours lightning and ice magic. A fire spell went wrong when Rook was younger, and left him with a burn bad mark. He's been wary of fire ever since. Other notable scars are his top surgery scars, and a scar on his chest that he got from Illario.

Rook is originally from Antiva, but he ran away from home at a young age (escaping an arranged marriage), changed his name and joined the Lords of Fortune.
