Gender Inclusivity & Specification: A foundational principle of this tag is that gender identity is paramount. The letters M and F refer to a character's gender, not their sex assigned at birth. This ensures the taxonomy is respectful, accurate, and aligned with the lived reality of the characters it describes.  Trans Women are Women: A character tagged with a narrative infix such as trans!woman is identified as F within an amphēkis. A relationship involving a trans woman and a cis man is categorized under the F/M amphēkis. Trans Men are Men: Similarly, a trans!man is identified as M.
