...kind of makes me wonder if the world we see is reality or just an approximation that our brains have enough processing power to render....reality as fill in the blanks, based on the blanks we've filled before...there is something poetic about that, i think.

I have been wondering about this too, about what obligations/if any/we have towards other people. I think for me that life is about love, which entails helping unless it hurts, but we should love ourselves first and then love others.
