I haven't given up on writing this week!

Ooo this is awesome.

So sometimes I'll pick ONE thing to 'show' and leave the rest more 'normal' on a page to give more impact to that one thing. Or I'll keep it brief if that's what the scene calls for.

And then sometimes I wax poetic for far longer than anyone wants. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

It depends! Sometimes showing gets in the way of what you're trying to tell. Sometimes, a girl's just got to pick up a pencil, or tie their shoe. These things don't necessarily require fanfare.

I'll have to read the book! I loved the movie.
