Hello BlueSky! I’m Moggs, an illustrator and pyrographer from colorful Colorado. Much of my work is inspired by nature with some of my favorite subject matter being mushrooms, fish, trees, landscapes, and birds. In my free time I like to forage, hike, see live music, and care for my 30+ plants.

I’ve been holding onto this coaster set for a little over a year but the second I got it, I knew I wanted to make a coaster set inspired by #otgw and I finally got to finish it! I love how they turned out, even if I’m a season late.

It’s been too long since I made anything because my job has been sucking up so much of my time. But I’m trying to practice cover design using an old comic idea I’ve been playing around with. Covers have always intimidated me from a design standpoint :(

Tis the season of Over The Garden Wall 🍁

Kicking off this season with some woodburnings inspired by #OTGW concept sketches. I loved how this Pottsfield shepherd-like pumpkin man turned out. By far one of my favorite shots from the show.

Part 2 of work for my #pbrisingstars mentorship! I had so much fun with playing with compositions and I loved creating this spread. Especially creating a sort of flow through the composition pushing the eye from left to right as you follow the herd.

I held off on watching the new @lindsayellis.bsky.social because I had a feeling it was going to make me cry. And it did. But what an incredibly potent video and strong reminder of why it’s important for artists to fight for quality in children’s media. I am inspired!
