panel 3: shadow approaches the figure that is sonic, leaning casually against a wall with a disinterested look. half of his face is obscured in the darkness. shadow clenches his fist and glares up to confront sonic. "faker. what do you-" panel 4: a low angle shot of sonic gazing down almost coldly with his hands behind his quills leaning back in a casual and easy pose. a shadow falls on part of his face and his expression is unreadable, eyes half lidded and sharp, with a quirked ridge. panel 5: shadow freezes on the spot. his eyes are wide and there is something akin to visible fear on his face. a shiver goes through him. "!?" panel 6: sonic jumps down animatedly to shadow's level, his demeanor switching completely to bright and cheery. "wow! shadow! fancy running into you out here!" shadow flinches and leans away, an arm across his chest protectively. panel 7: "you-" shadow is in a defensive stance, body poised to fight. his eyes locked on sonic, who stretches backwards calmly with hands on his hips. "well! great catching up with you and all, but- i gotta run now!" panel 8: sonic walks off frame with a wave of his hand. "see ya!" shadow is left with an incredulous look, still hunched over in shock with his quills flared. he is wheezing. "whu- huh!?" panel 9: shadow lowers his fists, quills relaxing. he has a perplexed expression and his mouth slightly agape. [huh? what the fuck was that...] panel 10: zoom in, shadow exclaims in an offended fluster, now fully riled up and flushed in an uncharacteristically shocked and outwards reaction. [what the FUCK was that?!] "SONIC!"
