First D&D book read as a fan, but currently rare player and where better to start than Drizzt? Incredible classic fantasy and enjoyed it a lot more than expected.

Another recent finish in my cosmere journey. The way this man just pulls entire magic systems out of nowhere is something else.

Finished this as my latest HH read, and despite seeing several mixed reviews stating it can be left out, really enjoyed it. A great precursor for the civil war to come and a great slow chase.

Finished part two of the way of kings and love this world. Jumped straight into warbreaker as going with the quill to live cosmere reading order.

Finished part of the way of kings and can't wait to get into the second. This is thorough world building and no wonder it got split into two parts.

Night Lords trilogy finished up and enjoyed every minute of it. Really gives some background into the legion, and although doesn't make you sympathise, it does help you say why they are the terrors they are.

Delved into the world of Brandon Sanderson after hearing many great things and absolutely loved the mistborn trilogy. A marvellous introduction to some incredible characters, world building and magic.

Finished up a selection of the horus heresy series over the past few months away from this app. After the first five I've been looking more at diving into different sections instead of attempting the full series in order. Some resale values or wild for these books and the library is a saviour.

Finished shadow of the gods for a bit of a break from the grimdark 40k future. I had been excited for this book but struggled quite a bit with some of the writing. I had resigned to not continue the series but it seemed to really pick up and start moving a bit better in the last quarter.

Fifth book of the heresy finished up and now it's really opening up for the carnage that's about to break into the 31st millennium. Some awful depictions of slaanesh's work.

Latest wrapped up additions to the horus heresy. Really enjoying the scope and feel these books are giving, definitely feeling the magnitude of what's to come.

Book 2 of the horus heresy finished and it's ramping up now. Seeds of doubt and ideas of betrayal being wildly sewn among the newly named sons of horus.

Only upside to whatever illness currently has me housebound is chewing through my first full book of the year in a day and a half. Fantastic Sci fi read and a gripping start to the heresy.

Finally finished up the age of madness trilogy after a bit of a Xmas break from reading. Absolutely gripping all the way through. @joeabercrombie.com is sheer brilliance.

Fell short of the 2024 goal of 30 books but still happy with 26. A definite improvrment over last year's and read some absolute belters this year.

Book 8 of the first law series finished up last night and leading up to a final book that could end anyway. @joeabercrombie.com writes some fantastic fights, reminiscent of the battle of the bastards in GoT for creating that feeling of chaos.

Book 7 of the @joeabercrombie.com end of year readathon. Can't wait to see where this last trilogy goes.

Book 6 of my current 9 book @joeabercrombie.bsky.social run. Amazing western spin on the first law world and seeing some brilliant characters return. On to the next trilogy.
