finally done with my personal recurve fighter. I made a similar piece for my friend Marcus McCoy a while back and have been itching for my own for a while. hand forged W2 blade, clay hamon, synthetic silk ito wrapped over tarred bank line.

I've been making pikals for years, and they're some of my favorite pieces to make and use. a lot has changed in my design philosophy between 2022 (left) and 2024 (right) but a lot has stayed the same.
