A wonderful part of the #BREW #ESA conference is the panel discussion. In this year's edition, Ritwik Banerjee (IIM-B) is moderating a panel on AI in beh/experimental Econ with Marie-Claire Villeval and PJ Healy.

In the last session for today, Nishat Anjum (NCAER NDIC) is presenting work on skin colour stereotypes and how affect plays a role in confidence, productivity, and risk preference in India.

On Day 2 of #BREW #ESA, in the post lunch session, Khushboo (Maharishi Dayanand University) is presenting work on daily decision making among doctors in India.

The last presentation in the pre-lunch session is by Abu Afzal Tauheed (Masaryk University), which deals with marital status and job market participation in urban India using experimental evidence from audit studies.

How might people consider concerns of fairness and efficiency in assessing so-called "meritocratic" systems? The next talk is by Puja Bhattacharya (U Arkansas) on using an experiment to disentangle these two preferences.

Now the morning session on #labour, with the first speaker, Vrinda Kapoor (Cornell) is presenting work with casual labourers in Tamil Nadu on rating employers and how providing this information shapes job choices.

Second keynote at #BREW #ESA is by Paul J. Healy (Ohio State) on belief elicitation methods, comparing the BQSR and MPL methods for incentive support.

Last talk for the session is by Mridul Joshi (Stanford), who is presenting findings from a JPAL RCT on whether a digital curriculum can reduce social media usage and misinformation discernment in Punjab

Next up is a talk by Garima Agarwal (Azim Premji University), who is presenting evidence from a field experiment with an edtech platform, studying the impact of public leaderboards on education. Find that females avoid "harder" tasks under public observability.

Attending the afternoon talks at #BREW #ESA conference in MDI Gurgaon! Earlier, heard a talk by Divyanshu Jain (IIM Ahmedabad) on math complexity and gender differences in standardized tests in India. Now, Anurag Kakkar (Hansraj College) is discussing role of peer networks in attainment.
