Love it when that happens. "Ooh, this not only solves the problem at hand, but it totally fits in with this random bit I put in three chapters ago!"

Day 21: I'm thankful for research - and for good research tools. They not only make the writing process a lot of fun, they're a huge help when it comes to getting past blocks. There's so much research going into this story, but I'm loving every minute of it.

Day 19: I don't have just the word "thank" so far, but I do have this: “Tonight Only! Lapis Lazuli’s All-Singing, All-Dancing, Immersive Thanksgiving Special! Featuring the Kallichore Symphony Orchestra and Omega B- Robot Choir!”

Day 17: MC reads newspapers, as they're a great way to get a feel for an event before he visits it. Rosetta has some libraries she likes to visit, both past and future. Sometimes MC comes along, but he finds the Library of Alexandria a bit daunting. #TimeTravelAuthors

#TimeTravelAuthors Day 15. MC reflects on some advice he was given.

I'm debating exactly how much to give away here, but MC is at a very specific historic event in this scene, and if you know it... Yeah, it's pretty grim.

Day 13: MC really likes street food, and there are some amazing dessert stands he frequents in both the past and future, including ancient Roman cheesecake bites, and some 25th century sweet dumplings he can't quite identify, but which are really good.

Day 11: Minutes and hours always flow normally, but when you move seven years with every step, you can see how a single area changes and evolves over decades, even centuries, in just a few moments.

Day 9: Strangest? Hard to say. For chapter 1, I did some really cool research on the life and career of Edwin Booth and the plays he produced at the Winter Garden Theater - most of which I didn't even use. I think Booth may need to become a more prominent character.

Day 7: Well, chapter 3 takes place at an auto racing track, though not during any actual auto racing. I'm not much of a sports person, to be honest, but an exploration of either past sports of future sports could be interesting, down the line.

I feel that. A friend (who knows me well, knows my thing is baking) invited me over for a game night recently. I asked, "Can I bring anything?" She said, "Chips." She knows damn well that's not what I meant!

"Death cannot stop true love. All it can do is delay it for awhile..."

It is! At least, I think it is. Or I hope it is, at any rate...

I'm so excited for this. And completely terrified...

Thanks!

Robots and dinosaurs can both be a lot of fun, but I find they're best enjoyed from afar. Very, very far...

Day 31: Sadly, my adventures still aren't available for public consumption in 2025. But if you're reading this in 2026 or beyond, hopefully you'll be able to find Time Jumpers on your preferred podcast medium. And after you do that... Come and rescue me!

Day 29: "That’s better. Wow, that’s a LOT better! The metallic gray buildings are all different colors, now! There's a dark blue one and a forest green one… And there are signs on all the storefronts. Mahler’s Hoverparts... The Fruitorium…"

Day 27: I'll admit, time travel was fun when I was in control. Explore eras, past and future - who wouldn't love that? Some of the tech gives me awful headaches, though. And the disorientation of bouncing around indiscriminately... I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy

Day 25: Another excerpt from the 1940s radio show, detailing my adventures. I'll admit I took a few creative liberties with the dialogue, but the actual event unfolded mostly this way.

Day 23: There's a corporation called Morrigan Industries, run by generations of time travelers, which has been controlling history for 300 years. I'm not supposed to know about them. Nobody is. But when you see the name spanning across eras, you start to put things together
