‘Cecile’ (an imaginary friend), layers one and two, reduction print. Dark layer first, then white which shows up as a lovely blue-grey. I may leave some like this, and add birds to others.. #printmaking #linoprinting #reductionprint

Drawing for a new print. The multiple drawing and tracing processes of a multi-block print, complicated by the realisation that I’d forgotten to include the specified background..(it’s a commission..) Back, literally, to the drawing board 😬

For #printpromptmonday #spring I’m going with this new blue print, as I called it ‘The tulip-seller’s daughter’. The tulips and colour definitely give it a spring-like vibe for me and I made it in April😉💙
