i’ve never played an ff game where the heroine felt absent from the story despite being next to the protagonist a majority of the time. ff10 and what it accomplished with yuna was monumental, what on earth made them let go of the complex heroine writing that’s long defined their brand

like as someone who recently played ff9 and ff10 for the first time it’s a genuine shock to me that they basically didn’t bother to write a female lead for this game at all. they gave her a 30min episode in a 50hr game.. she was a guest star at best
