To dodge sanctions, they schemed:
💶 Sent money to Russian banks
➡️ Relatives/friends withdrew it in Latvia to avoid alerting tax authorities
💵 Sometimes just paid in cash

#Pravfond has been on the EU sanctions list since June 2023. Cooperating with it is illegal. We found that at least 15 pro-Kremlin activists in LV have requested funding since 2017, mainly to pay legal fees.
Total - €164,000.
€56,000 was requested after the sanctions.

Officially, Pravfond supports "compatriots abroad."
In reality, it’s a Kremlin hybrid warfare tool — spreading ideology and backing those who serve Russia’s interests. Nordic media call it the “spy fund.”
