I've done the same 🙂 Its a good feeling😄 . You'll hit issues trying to compile Effects, but once Vulkan is done that issue should go away 😀

your doing the right things😀 the trick is to focus on what you need and just that. Its very tempting to get stuck writing and engine... just focus on what the game needs 🙂
