i think a lot of this can be meditated by trying to curate cubes closer to true singleton, including unique effects that capture more parts of a colors identity

I used to always feel that the makeup of the W and R columns were homogeneous enough that you would frequently find two players in a paper pod would just chop them in half and still have the strong consistent WR decks, recreating the online meta in miniature

again, we need the filter that can block when people are talking *about* commander/edh without using keywords

it was a weird draft with people taking some stuff I really thought would wheel (and only 7 drafters so missing some stuff) but by that same token their decks were rough enough that I was just slamming gaaks on em

I always time, 50 mins or maybe a few extra minutes if people are grabbing a drink, moving around etc.

prevents those 1% of matches where two players just grind it out with no end in sight. also lets everyone get to their matches on time and then get a second draft in!
