I’m deeply inspired by the work of Marija Gimbutas who unearthed and researched hundreds of goddess figurines and archaeological evidence of ancient matrifocal civilizations in pre-Christian Europe. Today I started carving one of my own, out of clay I collected from the banks of a cliff by the sea.
