i do both but it depends on the show and my own grasp of the language. with spanish I’ll watch it in spanish with english subtitles because I wanna try and learn the language. Or I’ll do spanish sub and spanish voice over if I wanna try and fully immerse myself. but other languages I do a dub!
Do you watch international movies and TV shows in their native language with subtitles, or dubbed with voice-overs if available?

so I just watched ‘the lady refuses’ from 1931 and let me tell you that shit was tea. like if you guys want a real old ass film that’s bizarre please watch this. i am hooked honestly. (PS it is not a silent film for those curious & to my knowledge a pre-code film)

periodically I go through judy garland phases, because who doesn’t. she’s lovely and the voice she carried is magnificent! but god, she has got a powerful vibrato that will move you to tears literally. do any singers move you?
