She now has the frame of reference on policy from the inside out .. that can be transformational. Quitting in midterm on jan 5 .. that sends a message!

Consider this-MGT had no experience in politics before she ran for office 5 years ago. Since then, she turned 50, got divorced, her children became adults, she's been the target of both widespread praise & terrifying threats. Her reference to feeling like a battered spouse is telling.
