Through slogans like “War is Peace” and “Freedom is Slavery,” 1984 illustrates the degree to which fear and misinformation can distort reality. It warns of a world where people’s minds, as much as their physical persons, are controlled...which all sounds sadly familiar in 2025.

Good luck - had an Evri parcel delivered to a different postcode 10 miles away today. They even provided photo evidence (ie someone's doorstep in Brighton). 🎅
