Introducing the PMBP (poor man's bench power). The PMBP has 4 external power sources for Eurorack, supplying +-12V. Each source has an on/off switch. There are also adjustable +-10V and +-5V supplies. The PMBP is a great tool for the DIY builder or for testing outside of the rack.

TI has a library of great documentation about their products and electronics in general. The naming convention for these documents is, unfortunately, insane. i.e. a document about Surface Mount Tape & Reel dimensions is titled snoa403i.pdf

We took a trip today to the Klamath Wildlife Refuge and encountered this bald eagle and several others.

I'm working on putting out more video content, so please bear with me as I stumble through process, technique and self-directing.
This is short video of how to load an electric CL feeder for a pick and place machine. These are a standard feeder used throughout the industry.

We were preparing breakfast this morning when the power went out for several hours. We decided to reverse meals.

I was working on a prototype today. I often use this chip puller when working with PDIP chip. I realized today that I’ve had this tool for over 35 years.

I just love how KiCad gives me a 3D transparent view of my board and the inner layers!

My JLCPCB panel order was delivered today. Fortunately I was able to ship it while the $800 tariff threshold was back in place. I was not charged any extra duties.

These PCBs are for my SSI2144 filter daughter board.

I just finished reading @niedermeyer.online excellent book, “Ludicrous - The Unvarnished Story of Tesla Motors”. The final chapter can only be described as a prophecy of our current times.

I'm working on a low pass filter using the Sound Semiconductor SSI2144 a reprise of the SSM2044. The SSI2144 uses the same internal circuit as the SSM2044 but incorporates improvements and takes advantage of modern process technology.

It's funny how Mouser's site has a checkbox when you login to "remember me", yet it forgets you after 5 minutes.
