TIL: Cherry laurel smells like marzipan when chipped. Google taught me the cherry laurel plant contain cyanogenic glycosides. Ok, now I know and I have no plans to do more. 😊

This is a ceramic doll head and blown glass eyes that were found by a family member deep in the ground in eastern Oregon. She was cleaned and stuck in a drawer for decades…and then I came along and decided to make her shine. 🙃

New control module came for the couch today! Just a bit awkward getting screws out util it could recline again. FIXED! 👍

Today was MAME upgrade day! We now have our multi arcade machine emulator running off a card rather than the old hard drive. Even put a new CMOS battery in. Oo lala. 😊 Next is to clean up the contacts on the original joystick. Pictured here.

Tried a friend’s sourdough recipe! I could definitely refine my skills but it was pleasantly edible. 😊
