The main thing I’d say is take advantage of multiple save files. Make a save, try something out and load back again if it didn’t work out how you wanted.
Also talk to the NPCs and take notes on a piece of paper, the game will not tell you where to go and what to do next, you work it out yourself.

Yeah, me too! It was very flawed but fun to mess around in. They made it super beginner friendly, but if you tried to do anything more complicated than the basics with their visual coding system, it would quickly become unmanageable.
