I lost the power adapter for a small switch to run my Xmas lights, so I had to dig this 16 year old (might be older, not sure) Gigabit Switch out of storage.

You can compare this to when I stopped working on PhoneGap in 2018 and moved to an internal team. The public contributions just straight up stopped. I definitely wrote a lot of code, but almost none of it was in the open except for when I did talks. I did three talks between 2018 and 2023.

You can definitely tell the difference between when I was employed and when I became unemployed. I think that this should be a sign that asking prospective candidates to provide a GitHub is silly, given that a lot of people can't publicly commit on GitHub.
