Every Friday me and my best friend would rent a SNES and Final Fantasy 2. We prayed it was the same cartridge so we could continue. But more often than not we started over. But- we beat it!
Those are the most cherished memories from my childhood. I re-live them whenever I start that game again.

I could resist the pull no longer and started a Switch 2 island.
