I do enjoy the way they've shown the background of the war machinations but I miss the slow realization of it in the campaign. The small hints that were threaded throughout, the MN slowly being dragged in to getting involved, almost against their will. That worked better for me.

I actually think it gets just the right amount of attention.
It's a great looking game with fantastic gameplay design.
But I truly feel it was missing something in the writing. The group never came together the way they do in other FF games. I didn't fall in love with the characters as much
