the shingrix vax induces robust and durable T cell responses which are known to prevent viral reactivation (the adjuvant likely helps a lot)

Another thing I'd like to see is a study examining whether intratumoral mRNA vaccination vs. normal IM injection affects outcomes.

Anyway, a really thoughtful study that demands immediate follow-up in a prospective randomized controlled trial.
