Five years ago, I was averaging $125 a month. Now, I’m lucky if my bill is under $300 a month. It feels like Florida is rubber stamping any rate increases Duke energy wants.

I was in Ohio 10 days ago, and was paying $3.20 a gallon. The prices were the same in Stark, Summit and Cuyahoga counties.

When I worked for Comcast, I’d say roughly 1/4 of the Palm Beach County call center employees openly spoke about being on government assistance so they could feed their kids.

I worked for Comcast (‘11-‘15), and they were rolling out fiber then, but only in certain areas. They didn’t roll out fiber everywhere b/c of the cost at the time, now they are behind. It was a choice they made b/c of keeping profits higher. They are now playing catch up with fiber.

From what I have read so far, no Fed agents were shot, only detainees. That leads me to believe the shooter was targeting detainees. That also leads me to believe that it was someone who doesn’t like immigrants. Obviously, my line of thought could change if there is evidence to show otherwise.

The first 2 thoughts that came into my head about this were 1) the shooter had military training or 2) the shooter was an avid hunter. Either way makes sense to fire from a rooftop to an area across a highway below w/any semblance of accuracy. I’m leaning towards he was a hunter,

I’m more apt to believe the local police evidence, as I don’t believe they will have a political agenda. I’m weary of evidence that comes from the feds, due to political influence, and federal agents afraid of losing their jobs for finding factual evidence that goes against dear leaders views.

I look at firearms ownership the same way I look at motorcycle ownership. Graduated licensing and proficiency. To me, it works best that way and makes me people better and more responsible. Unfortunately, capitalism (not a bad thing per say), says “if you got the money, I got the toy”

IMO, at the very least, we need a graduating licensing and weapons safety requirement for weapons that are progressively more complex/larger ammunition. Pump action shotgun, easiest license to get. Desert Eagle, show proficiency in care,safety and ability to use, tougher license to get.

I realize that you being from Oklahoma, anything Texas related is an asshole. Being in Florida, I see anything in Florida not on the peninsula as the asshole of the U.S., and the peninsula is the dingleberry of the U.S.

The problem with doing that, is that dear leader will stop allowing jury trials (which will bring a whole new problem) and put in a sped up pipeline to appoint his cult members as judges.

I lived and voted in PBC from Jan 1996 until may 2016 ( except for 8 months in 97, and 2 months in 05), I never had to show a license plate to vote.
