Not sure where my #NaNoWriMo story is going now that I'm off the outline... One of the characters keeps escaping and I need to drag him back into the main narrative. It's like herding a very skittish cat *sigh*

Well, I made it to the 6th day of #NaNoWriMo before completely throwing out the outline... That's progress, I guess. But it's so much more fun now that I'm officially off the rails... Being on the rails never suits me, haha

Alright, time to get serious about NaNo (which is, clearly, why I'm procrastinating on social media...lol). First, I'm forcing myself to write a new chapter that I've been putting off, and then I'll go full-out on a new ⚔️📚 project for which I have a vague direction and some half-formed ideas

How is NaNo seriously starting in two days?! I'm not sure I'll hit the target, but I'll try to go all-out on the sequel to the book I wrote for last year's NaNo. I'm excited to explore new magic and uncover some secrets I set up in book 1. What about you?
