I'm actually working on a video essay rn about campaign finance and how the system creates hurdles for working people who want to run for office!
That's why we need reform. We need to overturn the Citizens United decision, enact ranked-choice voting everywhere, and get dark money out of politics.

Why does it cost so much to run for office? It shouldn't cost this much right? I mean hows a candidate supposed to represent the electorate if they're in a totally different income bracket?
