In the middle of a drought and this is the first sign of rain in the sky I've seen for a good 6 months! Too bad none of it reached us.
But it's a start.
Hopefully only a week or two away from breaking rains. *fingers crossed*

Last night's little art session with my favourites produced this watercolour and wash of cray boats at the Coffin Bay jetty.
I have so many childhood memories of climbing up and down my families cray boats as they unloaded their latest catches or helping load the groceries for the next trip! #art

How awesome was it to see NASA Astronaut Suni Williams and her other crew members splash down today? Honestly, this woman is an inspiration, I hope she recovers quickly, and I can soon hear some in depth chats with her about how her time in space was.

I had day surgery yesterday to deal with women's stuff. First time I've been under anaesthetic since I was like 10. The hospital staff were fantastic, except it was an extremely vulnerable experience.
Came out with some good pain meds though :)

Finishing up Dennis E. Taylor's 'All These Worlds' audiobook (narrated by the fantastic Ray Porter).
I'm not sure why I thought this was the final book in the Bobiverse series, but it appears there's at least another two.

Watched 2002's Signs for the first time in years tonight. Aside from the ending, I was reminded of just how brilliant the thriller genre can be.
Personally, I think it'd make a brilliant stage production.

Yesterday, I ran a creative portraits workshop, which I was so nervous about, but ended up having an amazing time.
My two little model assistants helped me show some lovely ladies how it was done, and we ended up thoroughly enjoying the experience and the day.

Nearly had an altercation with a local yesterday. We both surprised each other and stood stock still for about 2 mins while we assessed the situation.
I'm sure I could have beaten her in a fight if it came to it (actually, no) but ya never know with these giant rabbits. Some of them are vicious. 😆
