I completely agree. It's definitely an odd choice to make it feel like the movie is on his side when you should be on Emma Stones. I think I might rewatch it to see if there is something I'm missing or if maybe the ending does make sense

Yeah it felt like it was validating Teddy too much, he doesn't really deserve validation or sympathy. Like kidnapping a CEO and torturing her is crazy and I feel like we don't really need to feel bad for the guy but the movie makes you feel bad for it and it feels weird to me. I feel bad for Don tho

Yeah I agree. I really enjoyed it but I think the ending kinda soured it for me. I'm not the biggest fan of Emma Stone but I thought she was great in it and no complaints about any of the actors. The ending though just feels off in my opinion

Saw the ending again yesterday at work (I work at a movie theater) and it's so disgusting I love it. The microphone part is awesome too
