Pro-independence for Scotland and any other peoples that want it. Doing my little bit to push this agenda along. Here for comment not argument. It's nice to be nice, so trolls, name-callers and rude people will be blocked.
Credit to him. It's probably the only honest political statement he's ever made.

Indeed. <sigh>

Scotland is told by its bigger neighbour, which has benefited *enormously* from Scottish resources for over 50 years, that wanting independence and to benefit at last from those resources ourselves is 'selfish'. Uhuh. 😳🙄

If only we did. Instead England overrules the devolved nations, takes their assets, and gives very little in return. The Union benefits England enormously, and the rest of us very little at all. And shows *zero* signs of ever changing that.

Yup.

Good. Those mistakes have been made before. Let's not repeat them. Especially with a growing renewables alternative.

Anas Sarwar's promises to "stand up to Keir Starmer and defend Scotland's interests" has been so effective that he has saved *zero* jobs at Grangemouth, Alexander Dennis and Mossmorran.

<Bitter laughs from Scotland>

We must not repeat the mistakes of the past.
November 19, 2025 at 2:56 PM
England, please. Hopefully Scotland will be free of this sort of horrible shite soon.

Scotland powers the Union. Literally. Oil. Gas. Wind. All flowing south to keep London’s lights on. Then they tell us we’re ‘subsidised’? That’s not unity. That’s extraction. Scotland has the energy but not the power. Independence means we’ll
have both. #IndependenceIsNormal

Labour before: solidarity doesn't stop at borders.
Labour now: lock the borders down and if they dare cross take away their personal possessions.
😳😳

Anas Sarwar to the rescue!

Personally I'd opt for wind turbine technology. Quick to build. Cheap to dismantle. Easy and cheap to decommission. No dangerous radioactive decommissioning over 100s and 100s of years.

Dounreay nuclear power station last produced electricity 30+ years ago, yet decontamination is expected to last until the 2070s and cost £8Bn, with full decontamination of the site estimated to take more than 300 years. Now Westminster wants to build *more* nuclear power stations in Scotland.

Every time I hear about Jackie Baillie of Labour's Scottish branch office attacking Scotland's health services, I recall the time she and Sarah Boyack were given free beer by Peroni for helping to block life-saving minimum pricing for years. How many more lives could have been saved?

Remember when they insisted that Starmer's 'island of strangers' speech was a mis-step or just misunderstood? They were wrong.

Keep seeing party loyalists insisting UK Labour is doing good stuff but the press just aren't reporting it. Well, they're reporting this and Labour can just f*ck off. What a horrible place the UK is becoming.

Cheddar, parmesan and parsley scones for elevenses today 😁👍
November 16, 2025 at 10:37 AM
Of course they don't. What Scotland, Wales and NI want and need is almost totally ignored by Westminster parties.
November 15, 2025 at 12:24 PM
Ah, but think of the jobs.
November 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM
Aye. Odd that.
