Here’s your #MusicCityGP raceday weather briefing: a bit more cloud cover today, so ambient/track temps should be just slightly cooler than Saturday. Dewpoint temps (good indicator of humidity) in low-50s (that’s good)..so ‘it’s a dry heat’. Light winds from north-northeast. #IndyCar #INDYNXT

Heat cranks up today at #PortlandGP: Sat evening final practice hit 88° amb/117° track. That’s close to where we’ll start the #IndyCar GP today at mid-day (at least for ambient). Other races: INDY NXT 75-80° this morning; USF Pro 2000 & USF2000 94-96° later today.

Here’s today’s #JavaHouseGP forecast: similar to last couple days, mid-60s at start, clouds decreasing, winds increasing. If you’re wondering if moving warm-up from this morning to yesterday was the right call..it was..regional airports reporting ceilings 500-700’ again this morning #IndyCar

Here’s today’s #JavaHouseGP forecast: similar to last couple days, mid-60s at start, clouds decreasing, winds increasing. If you’re wondering if moving warm-up from this morning to yesterday was the right call..it was..regional airports reporting ceilings 500-700’ again this morning #IndyCar
Nothing new with the forecast since previous updates…right now clouds are overcast between 400-700 ft with visibility between 2-3 miles…some patches where it’s worse…but everything should be noticeably improved by the time we get to #JavaHouseGP qualifying #IndyCar

Here’s the Laguna Seca forecast for #IndyCar this weekend: no surprises in this one. 50s to mid-60s. Breezy in afternoon. Only potential impact is extent of low-level marine layer clouds in early AM..could get slight delay to early sessions (i.e. prac 2, warm-up), if conditions are right.

7 am radar check: forecast on track with rain ending. True back edge of system is still dropping thru Georgian Bay..so a couple small blips on radar to watch…may get some drops out of low clouds as they pass through…but heavy/steady rain is done. No lake breeze today..it’ll remain a north wind

Friday #IndyTO weather brief: great conditions today..north wind this morning but should get a weak lake breeze by #IndyCar practice this afternoon. Sat looks good too. Still keeping an eye on next rain chance late Sat, but for now looks like everything departs by early Sun morning.

WED UPDATE: near 90° today in Toronto..cold front Thu, with rain exiting early PM..sets up exceptional weather Fri and Sat. Shifted timing of next system a little to the left..so added slight chance shower late Sat, with Sun rain chances favoring overnight/early AM for now #IndyTo #IndyCar

For your planning considerations, an early look at #IndyTO weather: week starts with hot/humid temps..then front on Thursday would break the heat..and Fri-Sat would be exceptional. Question mark for now is timing/strength of possible system Sunday..I’ll keep you updated as we get closer #IndyCar

Preview for Race 2 weather at Iowa Speedway tomorrow: a little warmer tomorrow afternoon, but with an earlier green flag time temps should actually be pretty similar to Race 1. Wind shift to the southwest…but not as breezy as today. #IndyCar

Saturday #IndyCar weather: following yesterday’s rain, some patchy areas of dense fog have set up, mainly east of Des Moines…should burn off around sunrise…then transition to mostly sunny conditions with temps maxing out in low 80s. Northwest winds for the race.

Sounds like we’re finished with track activity at Iowa today…and given the current radar, seems like a prudent decision….
