Coincidence, we just painted OVER some walls in the local community bar that were the same colour. We still have the purple 1970s chairs though- they're getting a thorough renovation so they can support bums (and bum's bums) for another couple of decades!

Uranium glass not radium glass AFAIK. Murano and other Italian glassware designers did a bunch off modern designs using uranium glass in the 1960s and 1970s. I have a couple of pieces. Glowing things are fun! With the exception of the Chernobyl elephant's foot.

Two emus decided to visit the beach shack today, instead of the usual kangas
Two not quite fully grown emus walking across a driveway past a letterbox on a post. The emus are about the same height as the letterbox. There is a tree in the foreground and a bush to the right of the photo, which is obscuring most of one of the emus. Mid grown emu about 1m (3 foot) tall walking past a tree on the front grass of a house, with a road in the background.

You missed this then, the top 0.1% have been sucking up the wealth for decades. They are both young and old oligarchs. The middle class is the new target of the weaponised younger generations. While the people who ACTUALLY grabbed the resources laugh in their private jets.
