Standing still during measuring is a challenge!
We tried a dog sweater we've found at a local store. I had to adjust the front paw holes but I'll also have to remove the extra layer around the neck for her to be more comfortable.

I'm so sorry for your sudden loss of Lucas and for the shock of finding he had passed during the night. He had a wonderful, loving home with you. He is with us now in Spirit World, forever remembered and loved.

I think the kitties are enjoying the sun. It would take an earthquake to move Wolfie but Pearl and Molly are content to nap in their sunpuddles.

I rarely disturb the kitties when they're sleeping, but when the sun finally appears after more than 2 weeks of fog and clouds, I had to get their brains some sunshine! Wolfie was already in the front window so I moved Molly and Pearl to join him. Sunshine! Glorious sunshine!

@henryandfriends.bsky.social Henry, we finally got a bit of sunshine!!!! Molly is napping but mom went outside and stood in a sunpuddle. Lots of clouds in the sky and rain coming in a few days, but we got to see the sun!

After 20 minutes Mom said it's too cold and it was time to come inside. I guess it's okay to watch the yard while warming up on the heater vent.

*waves* Hi Henry. It's still cold and cloudy here but Molly was tired of staying indoors so she's exploring the backyard. Our garden turtle statue looks like he's following her. 😂

We're outside because we're tired of being stuck inside. The fog is gone but the sky is still full of clouds. The sun is trying to peek out but we don't think any sunpuddles will make it to us today.

Yesterday was our annual post-thanksgiving left-over turkey & black bean enchilada filling preparation. We now have 13 dinners (for 2) in the freezer. Assembly is simply tortillas, filling, enchilada sauce (defrosted from ice cubes) and Monterey Jack cheese, bake until hot, and serve. Mmmmm.

Molly thinks its too cold to go outside. It's only 11°C, cloudy, and damp. It's much cozier to sit on the heater vent and watch the yard through the glass door.

After 50 minutes outside where it's 60 degrees, cloudy, and everything is rain soaked, Molly decided it was time to come in and warm up on the heater vent.

Oh jeez, as I'm typing they're wandering in the soggy grass. Hopefully neither of them needs to use the litter box soon, they'll have clumpy clay paws!
