Who says a sunrise can only be beautiful in Bali? Here at my village in north Luxembourg.

Celuk. At the local silver shop. Struck by the endless creativity of the Balinese.

A winding road cutting through the western mountains of north Bali. Clove trees as far as the eye can see.

Keep on meeting him. What does it mean?

Having a cigar while sipping whiskey at sunset in a 4*+ accommodation, complimentary rooms, after an reinvigorating massage. Currently happening in North Bali. It doesn't get any better. I believe.

No shortage of funky places in Lovina.

Not hard to guess where I currently am. Surprisinhly pleasant, the coffee shop AND the area. When the south of Bali is the city, this is the country side, even in Singaraja.

Yes, it is raining cats and dogs in Bali and it is mid September. Something statistically wrong.

Here in the Penyaringan area, there are some of the reasons why flooding caused so much havoc in Bali. The complete lack of respect for nature also caused some instant karma.

Attention car drivers in BaturSari area, I have installed a new Rockbros Klakson Bel Elektrik Sepeda. Now you will hear me.

As fast as the rain cane, the humidity rose. Bali has an early rainy season. Nice and sweaty again.

Some of these road side shrines in Bali are really terrifying.

Try to wrap my head around the fact that wedding and funeral processions/convoys are moving on Bali's roads at neck breaking speeds. Hey guys, take tour time to mourn.

I am back. Soon I will create a log of my last year in Bali. A goodbye after 30 years of uninterrupted life in the tropics is announced

Today feels like:

When it's not always raining
There'll be days like this
When there's no one complaining
There'll be days like this
Everything falls into place
Like the flick of a switch
Well my mama told me
There'll be days like this

Landing at 17.30 in Bali. Nice when the worst heat of the day subsides.

I am beginning to see China as the more if not being, certainly the more stable and absolutely the more clever force in the world, compared to the present United States, run by a jo-jo president.

Stopped in my tracks by a nasty lumbago issue. When you are sick, it seems the world is on hold. But your body never stops. Like D. Gilmour and R. W. Wright sang long time ago: "Sun is the same, in a relative way, but you're older. Shorter of breath and one day closer to death."
