Thanks to everyone who came out today to #RemovetheRegime in #Rochester NY! Great crowd, great messages, and a reminder to those in power that we won't rest until they fight to reestablish the rule of law in this great country!

Thanks to all who came out today for the Rochester @visibilitybrigade.bsky.social in action. We hope to see everyone at the Federal Building downtown at noon!

The cruelty toward unhoused people knows no bounds from the Trump Administration. These rules are designed to force non compliance from any city or group that values diversity or simply respects individual autonomy.

Sooooo....what was it we were saying about actual Nazis in the government again?

The CDC website was edited last night to alter its information on autism and vaccines. Just wow.

The 2025 Municipal Equality Index (MEI) is out from @hrc.org Here is Rochester's score:

Via The Washington Post. Sometimes it might be hard to see the cascade effect of Trump's antics, particularly on education. But here is one impact. We're losing some of the best and brightest minds in the world, minds that push American students to be better too.

It looks pretty bad for the Trump administration when even the New York Post feels compelled to report Trump is slashing food tariffs because it's making groceries unaffordable.

Thanks to everyone who came out to support @visibilitybrigade.bsky.social in Rochester NY today as we stood up for veterans on this #veteransday. A good reminder that, despite the divisions in America, we are still united behind those who sacrifice so much for this country.

Take note progressives. There are winning issues out there, if you're willing to be clear and bold to stand out from the status quo.

Presidents who ignore the courts in their own country are many things. Believers in democracy and the rule of law are not among them...

How far is far enough exactly? Is the President who blows suspected drug smugglers into oblivion hoping to use those tactics here as well? How much longer can the Constitution hold strong against his onslaught?

Thanks to all who came out to Batavia today to raise awareness of conditions at the ICE facility there. Our voices will make a difference in ensuring #dueprocess for everyone in America.

How would America's founders feel about the country they worked so hard to get started made the sins of the British government seem PG by comparison to what the current administration is doing.

This is how important SNAP is to our region. Food insecurity is bad enough as is, and it's going to get much worse. We need a government that operates with a basic sense of decency.

Monuments are about memory, not history. When they were erected tells you about the culture and politics of that moment. So what does this say about the politics and culture of now? That white supremacy and the myth of the Civil War as the Lost Cause live again. May future generations forgive us.

Funny thing, stopping immigrants from getting CDL licenses, and the Post Office only accepting one form of them immigrants can't get, per Trump administration rules, created so much havoc it was rolled back. Go figure...

Is this what Makes America Great Again? Sure seems like it's going to cost millions any access to health care and spike emergency room visits as Americans will be forced to forego preventative health care.

When the people tasked with following the laws ignore them to curry favor with the President, how is that not a national crisis?

This is blatant GOP gerrymandering. I thought the GOP was all about free and fair elections. Sure looks more like it's the party of election-rigging instead. #stopthesteal
