We normally don't post events held by other organizations, but the AV Democrats for Change club is having a non-perishable food drive this Saturday at Transplants in Palmdale from noon to 2:00 PM. If you can drive by and drop off whatever you can, it would be greatly appreciated.

Tons of amazing signs and fun costumes! We had signs our members had made AND supplies for people to make their own signs on the spot!

#NoKingsAV was a true reflection of our community. We had small business owners, union members, retirees, teachers, both faith-based and atheists, all races and immigration status, some people who haven't been to a political rally before. Everyone was there united in our love of democracy!

#NoKingsAV was a big success! About 2,500 of the Antelope Valley turned out, and the best part was how the crowd energized the community driving by and vice versa! Buses, big rigs, even a fire truck, and of course regular vehicles, honked and it was a great day for all.
