I agree, and golf is probably significantly different to most other sports as distance is only one of multiple key factors in success. A great short game can mitigate a shorter driving distance - as I found out to my cost a couple of weeks ago! 🤦🏻‍♀️

The courses are certainly set up differently, that would be a test. There are certainly women that have distance, Helen Briem on the LET is often 300 yds + off the tee. I'd doubt making a cut is a good measurement - a season on the tour would be the real tell is my guess. Would be interesting!
