Related pet peeve: sites that don't allow me to open a "page" in a new tab because the "page" is just a command instead of an actual URL.

When I was little I would literally eat myself sick just to avoid wasting the leftovers. To this day, I prefer to leave the table at family-style meals because I will just keep eating whether I mean to or not. 😑

I hope it is clear that I like posts like this as a way of acknowledging your pain, not any pleasure at the subject matter. I sympathize heavily with the burden of constantly needing to censor or undermine what you say in order to be allowed to say it.
