I made roasted red pepper/tomato/garlic soup and grilled cheese tonight and none of us like tomato soup but we devoured this.

NEW FAMILY MEMBER! This is Leslie Higgins, Director of Communication for AFC Richmond. He’s about 9 and was surrendered by an older couple whose health had taken a downturn. He goes by Higgins or Higgs. He is a Very Good Boy.

Howl’s cat, Julio, is a beautiful, affectionate orange boy and we love him dearly.

Howl is the most perfect cat that has every existed. Still. He is sweet and laid-back and affectionate and FETCHES. He is our perfect baby boy.

Perry hates all the dogs and doesn’t want to play with any cats, but we love him anyway.

Liz Lemon is here, but she’s in renal failure and mostly blind and completely deaf, bless her heart. She’s still super sweet and also willing to attack anyone who comes to the door, real or imaginary.

Chad is still one of the best cats that has ever existed.

Charlotte is a junior in high school and is taking fashion/design classes and loves birds and just got back from a school camping trip.

L is at Kcollege and is going to NYC (!!!) next trimester for music/film. You can bet we’ll be visiting her. She is living with friends and marching piccolo and slaying everything.

E is at UofM art school. She wants to be a tattoo artist-which is typically an apprenticeship-but couldn’t find one that meets her high standards. She’ll keep looking.
