The return of Stress Bake Monday. Made Anxiety Tamer Coconut Chocolate Chip Banana Bread. Rescued some long ago forgotten, frozen, overripe bananas. Used a Pinterest recipe for the basic quick bread…Shredded coconut & dark chocolate chips were my add-ins.👨🍳

My fave makes are a result of “shopping” what I’ve got in my stash, designing a project around it &/or scrap yarn projects.

Always wanted to learn this style of beaded crochet rope. Watched a couple free YouTube tutorials…Using pony beads & worsted weight yarn, I worked a 4 bead/color repeat. After a substantial amount of frustration, I finally got it!

I’ve used different crochet techniques to make plaid fabrics. The above one is crocheted in horizontal striped rows, then yarn strands are woven across the rows vertically to make plaid! Below-left the plaid was made using color pooling yarn & the gingham granny square uses 3 colors to create plaid.
