I've managed to spend a little while in our garden this afternoon rather than in other people's. Repainted the rose arch after getting it out of storage behind the shed. Sunflowers need a gold touch.
Lawn mowed but asthma has me pacing myself so crochet time now

I thought I'd chill out today and be creative inside but the Scotsman was so pleased with what I'd done yesterday he insisted on going to get another load of turf before he headed out for the day so I've been busy again

Here's a brave little thing popping up to show how strong we can be when we feel at our most beaten. The celandine might be sweet too but it's a bully and has to be in charge. It will always try to take control. Be like the little white flower and know we see how strong and beautiful you are

Ah but it's true. I just popped into a charity stop and briefly stopped at a big cane hamper thinking "oooh how much wool could i hide in there???" suddenly the manager says I'm just marking that to half price. £2.75!!!
