[3/3] “Blue no matter who” is desperately needed in general elections.

In the primaries, the “who” always matters, every single time.

[2/3] centralizing party power in fewer and fewer hands.

Our parties are private organizations of citizens. They only work when we do the work. We need progressives to step up and both do the work and donate in order to see *our* candidates in office.

[1/3] Here’s the thing that so many miss:

We need to do the work ***between elections***.

Tens of millions of people have declared themselves “independents” over the years, but there is no “Independent Party”.

What they’ve really done is abdicate from the two functional parties we have,

There’s pain caused by the GOP, and then there’s pain caused by our own side, and that’s what I have a hard time with.

When it comes to “checks and balances”, that’s something for twenty years from now, once we’ve recovered from the damage from this administration.

Not saying he’ll be successful, but the margin there is razer-thin, and there may be a few who have a significant number of voters losing healthcare [or more likely insurance companies losing premiums].

We get to continue riding downward on the spiral.

Which is why we should have made him build that ballroom using the shutdown.

I can’t help but feel that if we had both chambers and the Presidency, but we needed 7 GOP Senators, we would have ended up kicking 20,000,000 people of their healthcare for those votes.

Nah, he’s even mediocre there. Musk easily has him beat.

I’ve never read about Jesus and thought “You know, there’s a guy that wants people to worship him!”

Too many modern Christians are, at best, the thirsty nice guy simp who stalks a girl, rather than the kind, decent guy with a personality who ends up marrying her.

Always has been for the party of fiction.
