The economy of Ukraine is small, a 100% GDP debt is not a big challenge to back-up for the countries supporting Ukraine. Especially if the $200 billion of russian assets can be leveraged

What matters is the interest rate at which the debt is taken.

I don't see the sense of compromising security in exchange for a few jobs. Does not make strategic sense.

The best investment is now to defeat Russia in Ukraine so we have to spend less later.
With USA abandonment of Europe, Ukraine is now more important for European security.

I just find it hard to trust the Germans again; their elected politicians will want to go back to doing business with the Russians as soon as possible, putting us all in danger and dividing the EU West / East.

I would rather invest in the Nigeria-Morocco Gas Pipeline.
It goes through the water along the coast instead of trying to maintain infrastructure in the Sahel and it is planned to be completed by 2029. 6.500 kilometer
It would require improving the Spain-France connection for distribution though.

The economy in Europe is rather stagnant, perhaps people want to emigrate, but being the economy of the USA doing better. I struggle to see how large amounts of people will finally relocate.

I keep reading that, but looking at how they are accumulating debt and convincing western companies into opening new factories on neighboring countries, I am not sure anymore.
