(4/4) I'm posting this to let others know that if you've also been on the fence with this, just go for it. The Steam Deck is probably one of the best gaming purchases I've ever made. I do not regret it one bit.

(3/4) The flexibility of Steam and PC overall is so damn refreshing from a consumer perspective.

I'm still going to be getting things for my Switch 1 here and there, but I'm primarily just transitioning over to Steam from here on out. It's just too consumer friendly and the options are limitless.

(2/4) With the entire Switch 2 ecosystem being horribly overpriced and Playstation/Xbox continuing their platform's descent into worthlessness, PC and retro gaming have pretty much saved this hobby for me.

I could not be happier with this purchase.
