Unfortunately, no personal behaviour change is going to clean up the air that @hackneycouncil.bsky.social has further polluted where poorer people live & our CYP attend school. LTN=Lung Apartheid. Stop harming us!

The term “boundary roads” is a misnomer in terms of displacement. Sacrificial rds are those that take the rerouted traffic & resultant pollution. Stats on “boundary rds” used to fool & gaslight. Methods of counting (ATCs) don’t register slow moving/stationary traffic.

Today’s Perfect Storm!👇Two people could not walk on
this stretch of pavement at
the same time. Must constantly be on high alert now to avoid being run into by people on bikes. So stressful to be a walker in
London now. @rita-krshn.bsky.social Pavements for People!

We should be fighting for clean air equality not the dumping of harmful traffic onto poorer people’s roads. The school in the video has over 50% in receipt of free school meals. ⬆️% Children of Colour. Who’s campaigning to protect them?

A greener future must be an equitable one where richer folk cannot export traffic onto roads where poorer people are more likely to live, walk, work, shop & attend school. Stand up against environmental racism & environmental classism!
Stand against environmental injustice in our towns & cities!

Why did I bother to put up a Christmas tree when I get more than enough “festive” light from the line of traffic outside my home for hrs each day? 👇Photos taken at 16:16 & 17:37 w/no break in the traffic. Where’s that evaporation? LTN victims need clean air too - not just for Christmas.

I track pollution levels on a regular basis (& have a portable pollution monitor). Levels in Paris often higher than London. Why, if all going so well? 👇this morning.

I don’t drive, so wouldn’t impact me personally. And at least it would be equitable. All those car owners inside LTNs would not support a ban. They want to drive & get deliveries via the poor roads. Or have you misunderstood what environmental injustice is?
November 30, 2024 at 10:54 AM
That won’t get you far inside LTNs where the level of car ownership is higher than average in most ifnot all London boroughs. For example, @hackneycouncil.bsky.social LTNs👇

After discovering someone was impersonating me on this platform I joined it & immediately the sad boys got their guns out so I blocked them. Never have had time for aggressive duplicitous men and too old to start now.

In Hackney outside this large primary school & the nursery nextdoor both with very disadvantaged intakes there is post-LTN manufactured congestion. Shameful you will agree.
